A deal has been reached for a showdown between New Zealand domestic rivals Joseph Parker & Junior Fa.

The bout between the two likely happening in December.

A press conference will be held at Spark Conference Centre today to announce more details.

The fight will almost certainly capture the most interest in a New Zealand boxing bout since the David Tua knockout of Shane Cameron back in 2009 – a fight that holds the domestic record for most pay-per-view buys in this country.
