Fresh off a huge win on his return to Lightweight, Rolando Dy will go back to the Kingdom of Bahrain for another big fight, as he takes on New Zealand's John Brewin at BRAVE CF 44.
The fight is scheduled for for today.
The fight will take place a little over a month after his latest victory, against Maciej Gierszewski.
The short turnaround is not anything new for the experienced Dy, and he follows a warrior mindset when analysing if he should accept a bout offer or not - most often than not, he ends up going for it, as he likes to stay active and seize opportunities whenever they may come.
‘’It’s not that easy to accept but I’ve been fighting a lot of late notice fights in my career and it’s not something new," says ‘’Dy Incredible’’, who’s confident that not only he will make weight successfully but that he will also come out victorious against Brewin.
"I follow the warrior code, I don’t consider myself just an outlet, I consider myself as a warrior so if there is a fight, then I will accept it. If there is a fight offer I will accept it.
"I’m a fighter, I don’t pick my fights, I don’t pick my opponents, the organisation picks my opponents and if they offer me a fight, as long as I am healthy and I can make weight, then I will accept it"
BRAVE CF 44 is headlined by a Lightweight world title bout, as current champion Cleiton ‘’Predator’’ defends his crown against top contender Amin Ayoub, in a bout that the winner of Dy vs Brewin will be very interested in, as whoever comes out victorious could very well be next in line for the title.
