Kiwi heavyweight David Nyika will make his professional boxing debut on the Parker vs Fa undercard next year.

At a press conference on Monday, Duco Boxing announced that the rescheduled fight between Joseph Parker and Junior Fa will happen in ate Feb / early March.

Fa is scheduled to have routine this week. The bout was originally scheduled for December.

In a post on Facebook, Duco Boxing says it's common knowledge that Nyika has been sparring with NZ heavyweight and WBO #3 Joseph Parker.

"But it's truly exciting to announce Nyika on the undercard for what will be an explosive fight night."

Nyika spoke at Monday's press conference in Auckland saying "I think anyone would be extremely excited to be on such a prestigious card. The sparring (with Team Parker) has been incredible and I'm really looking forward to getting back into camp early January."
