Flagship Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games news site, insidethegames.biz, has launched a section dedicated to IMMAF amateur MMA,  sponsored by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation.

The section includes a dedicated IMMAF news page and Championships updates, as well as comprehensive information spanning amateur MMA, its rules and regulationsreigning world champions, IMMAF social responsibility and organisational information.

Founded in 2012, the purpose of IMMAF is to further the development, recognition and regulation of the sport of MMA (mixed martial arts). With a seven-year track record of organising international, amateur championships and developing the sport globally, IMMAF's membership today includes 120 National Federations worldwide with National Olympic Committee recognition in almost 50 countries.

IMMAF has advanced programmes for education and certification of MMA coaches, referees and other technical officials, as well as Youth Development.

Supported by the UFC®, IMMAF is the only legitimate international governing body for MMA, working to gain sport recognition and see MMA into the Olympic Games.

IMMAF President Kerrith Brown says he is excited to see amateur MMA featured in its own dedicated section on one of the world’s leading sports news sites, bringing the sport to a wider audience.

"The platform will give exposure to the vast amount of work IMMAF is carrying out in the development of the grassroots and amateur sport and in setting benchmarks for good governance, integrity, participant safety and equity in combat sports.

"We look forward to a fruitful partnership with insidethegames.biz as we continue our bid for sport recognition from the Olympic movement, to provide better safeguarding and equal opportunities for participants of MMA.”

Sarah Bowron, Managing Director of Dunsar Media, says they are delighted to be working in partnership with IMMAF.

"insidethegames.biz is uniquely placed to help International Federations to tell their story and ensure their progress and achievements reach those that matter, throughout the world, on a regular basis, as fast as possible.

"The last 12 months has been unprecedented for everyone, not just the global sporting community, and yet insidethegames.biz has continued to provide the highest quality editorial copy keeping the decision-makers of world sport informed of the latest news, seven days a week.
